By accessing or using Venture ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. Venture is currently in beta and is provided free of charge during this period.

2. Description of Service

Venture is a platform for startup founders to:

• Create and manage a public founder profile
• List and showcase their startups with descriptions, metrics, and updates
• Track business metrics such as MRR, customer counts, and growth rates
• Discover other startups and connect with fellow founders
• Build in public by sharing their startup journey

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of Venture, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Venture, including startup descriptions, metrics, images, and updates ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Venture a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Service.

You represent that you have all necessary rights to post your User Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information about your startups or metrics
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a startup
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Use automated systems to scrape or extract data without permission
• Post spam, advertisements, or promotional content unrelated to startups

6. Beta Service Disclaimer

Venture is currently offered as a free beta service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any data loss, service interruptions, or changes during the beta period.

7. Intellectual Property

The Venture name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and branding are the property of Venture. You may not use these without our prior written consent. The Service's design, features, and functionality are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Venture and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which is currently zero during the beta period).

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service or sending an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
